The boat at Black Dog Farm was shown to have been out recently. Thoughts?

Someone had the boat out in order to take Jem out and dispose of his body.

I thought it was probably the boat used to transport Jem to the beach where he was found.

I agree with you all. The boat was taken out to get rid of Jem’s body. Question is…who did the driving?

Totally agree that the boat was used recently to dispose of Jem's body. Poor Jem.
