Any thoughts who the man was who met Michelle and entered the room when Ruth was trying to phone the police? Were you surprised when you found out who it was? Did this help your thinking?

I thought it was Paul. I was surprised and knew the dog belonged to him.

By this time, it was pretty obvious it was Paul Noakes. This wasn’t a complete surprise (he was one of the main suspects, after all), but it was a relief to be getting somewhere, at last.
Still a bit to go, though; we need the cavalry, (good job Judy knows Nelson’s whereabouts from his radio signal), and we need explanations.

Yeah at that point I felt it had to be Paul but I wasn't convinced he was guilty of the murders per se.

I figured it was either Paul or David. And agree with >3 Sergeirocks: that we are getting somewhere with the different threads (again, no pun intended).
