What were you final thoughts, comments or questions about the book?

Thanks for doing this and asking all the great questions! It makes for a good time for all involved and we get so much more from the book!

John had his surgery today and everything went well. He did mention the colors were very bright. We have to go to eye doctor tomorrow for a checkup so he is healing this week and going back next Monday to get the other eye done.

Did John manage to finish the book this weekend? He said that was his intention.

>1 Andrew-theQM: I found the end a bit rushed. Lots of information tumbling out. To me it felt like the skeleton of a story without the body fleshing it out, if that makes sense.

I agree with >7 Sergeirocks:. It seemed a bit rushed and there were no clues leading to Mark until the very end.

Thanks for the great questions, >1 Andrew-theQM:. It's always fun to read with this group.

I agree that all the loose ends got tied up a bit too quickly, but i didn’t mind the fast pace. I didn’t mind that Mark came as a surprise. I think there were enough clues that we could have seen it coming. I suspect a second read would reveal more hints.

I finished the book today a little later than you guys. However I totally enjoyed the book maybe even more than you guys did. It kept me engaged and interested and that is what I require from any book. What I enjoyed even more was the discussion and engagement with this group. I wish we could discuss every book I read. Impractical I know but that is just how much I love this part of it.

I really enjoyed the group read (finally finished the book yesterday) and thought much of the book was very good. I thought the ending, though, was a bit rushed and Mark was not on my radar for a suspect. And thank you as always >1 Andrew-theQM: for the great questions getting the discussions going!

>13 threadnsong: thanks, and also thanks to everyone that took part.

Totally agree about the rushed ending to the book.
