I had a chance to re-watch an old favorite, 1948's "Rope" directed by Hitchcock, which is incidentally about a cocktail party given for a bibliophile to look at some "first editions." Wonderful movie.
The new 4K transfer available from Universal shows some amazing details, including one of the books that I can definitively state is the HP version of "The Scarlet Letter" complete in slipcase.
While many of the spines in the bookcases looked familiar, I was not able to identify others, but here's a couple of photos of some stacks a character was carrying.

Well spotted! I remember seeing some LEC or HP in a movie or show before too, but I'm struggling to remember what movie it was and exactly what the books were. It was quite some time ago, before I was aware of this forum so I didn't share it anywhere. I think it was the HP 3 volume Shakespeare.
Always neat to see something you own on a shelf in a movie or show, normally happens with more common books like Franklin Library or Easton Press. I see it sometimes with guests on news or sports shows who are calling in from their offices. Larry David's first house in Curb Your Enthusiasm had the same edition of Will and Ariel Durant's The Story of Civilization that I have. Nothing special but neat to see
