looking for recommendation for ya fantasy, but something that has a little bit of a younger style. something kinda similar to the magisterium series or even caraval or the lunar chronicles. idk just ya fantasy that's not too dark or filled with curse words or anything. something that ya but makes me feel like a kid again.

>1 goldenwillow_9: Would you accept things that are often considered "middle grade" like Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom, School for Good and Evil series, or Land of Stories?

I've been enjoying The Mirror Visitor Quartet by Christelle Dabos. It starts with A Winter's Promise.

I highly recommend three books by T. Kingfisher: Minor Mage, A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking, and Illuminations.

The House in the Cerulean Sea should do the trick. I believe that a sequel is coming out soon.

At the risk of reaching too far back, I'd still strongly recommend the Bartimeaus Trilogy (starting with the Amulet of Samarkand) assuming you haven't read it already. Brilliant stuff. He also wrote a fourth book a while afterward.
