Count me in although I can only due Friday-Monday as I teach a class beginning on Tuesday and will probably have first day exhaustion and loose ends to tidy up.

Still reading The Moonspinners and enjoying it. I vaguely recollect seeing the Hayley Mills movie when I was young, probably on tv.
I have to go out and will be listening to my audiobook Shogun with 11 hours left it's unlikely that I'll finish this before New Year.

I'm in! My company left this afternoon so I'll have more time for reading now, if I feel like it. I've got a lingering cold and I tend to binge watch BritBox and Acorn when I'm sick.

10p in California and l’m in bed ready to read to myself. Earlier l read The Emperor’s New Clothes, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and The Princess and the Pea to my granddaughters. They’re now tucked in and asleep. They are having a sleep-over at our Airbnb. They love the bunkbeds in the 2nd bedroom!

Dinner was kid’s choice - grilled cheese, fries, apples, ice cream.

Other activity - for family movie night we watched Christmas at Mistletoe Farm - 3rd time this season…

Completely forgot to update on Friday and Saturday’s reading.

Ive been reading Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s Good Omens and am on the final stretch. Planning to finish it before the end of the day (and year).

Not a ton of reading time as I’ve been doing laundry, trying to exercise, placing ads for stuff I don’t need/use, and generally wasting time online.

Sunday morning update:

I finally felt well enough to read yesterday afternoon and evening, and I read several chapters of Murder at Morija. Still reading it this morning.

I've had a cold/upper respiratory infection for the last 10 days and it finally seems to be breaking up this morning. I'm doing my best to stay hydrated, so the menu includes lots of liquids - orange juice, club soda and lime juice, iced tea, hot chicken broth, and hot tea. Santa brought me two tea assortments so that's coming in handy! I ate the last of the cranberry sauce with vanilla yogurt for breakfast, and also had a slice of sourdough bread with homemade pimiento cheese.
