It's tough, but if you had to pick one................what is your best read of 2023?

I guess it would have to be a re-read - A Stillness Heard Round the World a history of November 1918

Hard to choose. I would say Elizabeth Peters' fiction books based in Egypt. I have been to Egypt the last two years and the books are a reminder of the sites.

This much is true by Miriam Margolyes. She’s very rude but very funny and has had an interesting life.
