Why would Alex want to be moved in with the most dangerous prisoner?

I think Alex thought she was a challenge for her.

I think she wants to use her. Possibly to cause trouble outside using her friends/contacts.

We know that Alex works by manipulating people. That’s why she’s incarcerated, for the atrocious things she got her subjects to do - and why she hasn’t been placed in solitary confinement but is allowed unrestricted access to a prison full of women to work her magic on, I will never know!
Goodness knows what Alex can achieve with the worst prisoner under her control?

>3 Olivermagnus: Definitely agree, she is intending to use her in some way.
>4 Sergeirocks: Bizarre with what they know about her that she is given that free and unfettered access.

>5 Andrew-theQM: I agree that Alexandra has Tanya in her sights to aid whatever plan she is hatching.

Also, I completely agree with your observation Andrew about Alexandra's relative freedom. I also wonder why with knowledge of how she came to be in prison that she would be believed re the attack in the cell.

>6 Maura49: I agree, the prison authorities almost seem to be scared of her!

I cannot guess what Alex has in mind by getting Tanya as her roommate.

Like >4 Sergeirocks:, i’m surprised Alex has been given free rein in this prison. Wouldn’t the warden and guards be given instruction on how to treat her and what to look out for? The woman was incarcerated for playing mind games and manipulating others to do her will snd murder others! Yet she’s treated no differently than any other prisoner. Boggles my mind!
