Were you surprised how easily and quickly Alex was controlling Tanya? What did you make of the implied threat to her nephew? How do you think she had kidnapped him?

I knew Alex would be able to control Tanya because he is extremely good at controlling people and the situation. Alex could carry out the threat to her nephew as she has people on the outside that she controls too and gets them to take care of her demands.

It never surprises me what Alex is capable of. Her ability to control others is amazing.

Unfortunately Alex has a great talent for manipulating people, but I was still surprised how quickly Alex achieved this with Tanya. Amazing how someone from in jail could organise a kidnapping! Clearly kidnapped him as a way of controlling Tanya and her sister, and to show them what she was capable of.

Nothing Alex has managed to do has surprised me. She has the time and the money, not to mention the power over others, to get things done, regardless of being incarcerated.

Perhaps previous knowledge of this character makes her actions less surprising to fellow readers. I am amazed at the 'reach' she has. to be able to manipulate the most dangerous prisoner in the facility as she is doing seems astounding.
