Was Kim right to walk away from her mother saying to herself whatever she had it wasn’t worth it? What do you think this interlude will do to Kim and her mother?

Kim already has dealt with her mother’s incarceration and as long as she is not released it will continue to be dealt with in the future in the same way.

I think it will continue to eat away at her and I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't eventually give in.

I don’t think Kim in her state should have gone to see her mother, but I was glad when she walked away without speaking to her, this will send a strong message to her mother. This situation will still eat away at `Kim, and she still has Alex to deal with as Alex won’t let it end like this. I wonder if her mother will now sabotage the parole hearing.

Kim’s going to continue to carry around her hatred. Hopefully, Kim’s mother has recognised Kim’s continued hatred and will sabotage her own parole hearing.
And, with a bit of luck, Alex will discover this little scenario did not go quite as she’d planned.

I agree with Andrew and Sergei. Except I don’t think Alex cares what direction the meeting goes. She’s toying with Kim and forcing her to choose to confront or not confront her mother is a win. Her goal is to mess with Kim’s psyche and ultimately break her. Alex will decide her next move based on whatever happens. Alex only loses if Kim declines to follow up with her. But Alex knows Kim won’t just walk away

>6 bluebird_: I agree just wants to lay with her psyche and leave her in a tumbling mess in the corner - however in Kim I trust!
