*In a distance Alora walks towards a house she sees, she is thirsty and hungry ad desires sleep so she ran towards the house after a while*

Sam started running, the hot sun beating down onto him.

*starts to run out of energy, stumbling a little bit but, fights through*

(He's nearby but i can make him go into the house)

"Ah great...a house"

*stumbles and falls but gets back up and reaches the house, looks inside and says in a weak, dry voice* Hello? Is anyone there?

Sam walked in the front door, not saying a word.

*walks in* Hello?

Sam coughed, "Oh...hey i didnt realize this house had people in it.."

*startled* Yea... same...

Sam smiled, "My names Sam Reyes, whats yours?"

"Fine...." Sam muttered, walking back into the house.

Ok now to find food and water.... *looks in every cabinet and finds canned food, then looks in the fridge for water, finds some stored in there* Here take some of this *hands him water and food*

Sam nodded, grabbing the stuff. "Thanks"

Your welcome *chugs the whole wwater bottle and starts to open a can of food to eat*

Sam chugged the water, "Why is clean water so hard to come by...."

"Most of it has been ransacked by people who don't even need that much of it"

"Yeah- i think they are a part of a group or something- they hit pretty damn hard too"

"Not sure, didnt stick around when they pelted my ribs with their fists"

hmmm, if we get rest, eat more food, and train, I think we could beat them and claim the water!!

"Yeah, i think we can too" Sam said, suddenly wincing in pain.

You ok, how long were you hurt by those people? *walking over to check him out for severe injuries*

"Uh- maybe two days" Sam said, his chest and body severely bruised.

*takes a look and feels his ribcage* I think they broke something... you need to be resting before we do anything like fighting other people

"Alright fine...ive been walking for a few days now though" Sam muttered, sitting down on the couch.

Good I'lll find something to wrap you up, it might heal for a while because it's not getting proper treatmnt, but its the best we can do, so get comfy it's going to be a long time...

"Guess so..." Sam said, almost falling asleep on the spot.

*goes to look for ibuprofen and a bag to put ice in it*

Sam snored softly, the binder he was wearing ripped and torn.

* found some ibuprofen and a bag and put ice in it, head over to Sam to wake him up* Sam take this really quick and you can go back to sleep, ok?

"Oh...alright" Sam mumbled, grabbing and swallowing the Ibuprofen.

Thank you... *puts the ice pack on the his ribs to help the swelling*

Sam laid back down, falling asleep within minutes, although struggling to take a deep breath.

*sits next to him then falls asleep as well*

Sam wheezed, still struggling to breathe.

Sam was still wheezily snoring, the binder constricting his chest.

(Truth be told you are not supported to sleep in a binder)

(At night, the lungs need space to move properly which is why you shouldn't bind at night.)

Sam yawned, walking to the bathroom and taking off the binder, "Shit! I fell asleep with it on"

*gets up and yawns while sitting on the couch*

Sam ran out of the bathroom, desperately trying to find an oversized shirt to wear.

"Crap...alright then" Sam muttered, "Dont be weirded out" coming back in with a black turtleneck sweater, his chest not flat anymore.

"I'll be okay though" Sam muttered, chugging the water.

Sam walked back into the room, trying to show that he wasn't in pain.

After a few hours, Sam was sitting outside his hair covering his eyes.

*wakes up and notices the door open, gets up to walk outside*

Shadow was in the cafeteria, sifting through some bird seed for Violet

Amanda Reyes was in a bookstore, looking around for her brother Sam.

Shadow smiled as the bird tweeted gently, "Here you go Violet." He said, dumping some bird seed in the bowl for her

Amanda groaned quietly, "Why did Sam have to run away from that stupid dog"

Shadow heard a sound, "Violet, you stay here and finish eating, I'm going to go and see what made that sound." The little parakeet chirped nervously, "I'll bring my gun." He said, pulling out his 9mm pistol

Amanda kept walking around, muttering " Of course i should have known how cowardly he is..."

Shadow started to approach his favorite shop at the mall, the bookstore. "If anyone ,who is not undead, is in there, come out now."

Amanda dipped her head out, "What do you want?"

Shadow kept his guard up, "What are you doing in my home and how did you get here? It's completely barricaded in every entrance." At that moment, Violet flew towards them.

"Oh uh- i was in here before you even did your whole barricading thing"

Shadow looked at her suspiciously, "Impossible, I did a full sweep of this place, from ceiling to floor and only found the undead." Violet landed on Shadow's shoulder and chirped her agreement

Amanda muttered, "Well then seems like you missed me"

Shadow shook his head, "Where did you breach through? And are you hurt in anyway?" He said, suddenly very concerned

"No, just annoyed from my brother running away from some dog" Amanda said, "Oh and there's a basement to the mall"

Shadow's eyes went wide, "Oh no, that's not good. Also, what does your brother look like?"

"Uh dark-skinned, underweight, tall, and dark brown hair"

"I think I saw him run by here a couple of days ago," He said ,with a thoughtful look. As soon as he said that, a siren started to blare and a message was played: "Attention any survivors, there is now a massive zombie outbreak and the virus might've gone airborn, do NOT leave where you are staying."

Ok then, let me sharpen my knives and prepare my pistol, just in case... *goes to kitchen and grabs the knife sharpener and starts to sharpen knives, then once done checks pistol to see if it's jammed or dirty*

"Thanks" Amanda said, grinning.

Sam ran out, yelling "AMANDA! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

"I have a room seperate for anyone who decided to be here." he says, "If you'll follow me."

*Runs out to follow Sam making sure there aren't any zombies near by even if its snowing*

Amanda nodded, walking after Shadow.

Sam kept yelling, his voice getting hoarse.

He eventually led her to an arcade room, in the room was a fully built bed. "Here your room is."

Amanda smiled, "Thanks dude"

"There's food in the cafeteria, it's enough to last us years if needed. If you need help to find anything, come and find me."

Amanda smiled, patting Violet's head.

Sam muttered, "That mall but it looks abandoned and could be full with zombies"

Violet chriped again, rubbing her face against Amanda's "Oh, and there's a few changes of clothes in that area," He said pointing to a makeshift closet

"Um sure i guess" Sam said.

Amanda smiled "Kay"

Shadow walked away, leaving Violet

Amanda yawned, "Well might as well take a quick nap"

*starts to lead the way towards the mall* C'mon Sam we need to hurry! It's getting colder by the minute!1

Violet chirped slightly

"Okay" Sam said, shivering.

Shadow had gotten into his loft and saw two figures approaching, they were walking like a real human not the shuffling of zombies. He took out a flashlight and flashed out the word, "Hello."

Sam shivered "Oh...hello"

Shadow quickly rushed down, "Amanda! There's some real people out there!"

Amanda groaned, getting out of the bed. "Coming!"

"Sorry," he said instantly, "Should've let you sleep."

*Comes in then sees people instead of zombies*

Shadow pointed his pistol towards the people, "Oh, hello."

"Its fine" Amanda said, walking towards Shadow.

*pulls out pistol too* you shoot then I shoot.... and hi

Violet flew towards them, chirping angrily

Ack!! *hides behind Sam, for is scared of birds*

Shadow smiled, "So, what's your name?"

"My names Sam" he said, holding his hands up.

*put away pistol relizing that I still had it in hand* I'm Alora Clemintine

Shadow put away his gun as well, "Sam, is your sister named Amanda? Also, nice to meet you Alora, I'm Shadow."

"Yeah....she is probably a zombie now..." Sam said, putting his hands down.

Sam frowned, starting to walk out of the mall, an angry look on his face.

"Sam wait! I did try to look for you!" Amanda yelled.

"It's true, she did." He said quietly, "She was worried sick about you, and frankly quite mad."

"MAD?" Sam yelled, "AT LEAST SHE WASNT BEATEN TO THE POINT OF ALMOST DYING"

Amanda gasped, "What!?"

Shadow's eyes grow wide, "We can talk about this later, but first could we repair the hole in my home?"

Amanda nodded, "sure"

Shadow sighed, "You spend weeks protecting this place and people can just find their way in."

"Well lets go fix it then" Amanda said, walking towards the door to the basement.

Shadow followed, Violet chirped but didn't go with them

Sam looked at them angrily, running back to the entrance.

Violet flew in front of him and stopped Sam, tweeting urgently

Sam grumbled, trying to pass Violet.

Violet started to squawk, as if warning him of the danger outside

Sam turned back sitting down. "Fine"

Violet chirped once and landed on his shoulder. Shadow sighed, "Could you get me some of that wood over there?"

Sam nodded, throwing a few pieces of wood his way.

Shadow smiled, "Thanks." He grabbed a hammer and a few nails, "Amanda, could you please grab a few doors."

Amanda nodded, running to go grab doors.

"Um- maybe help Amanda..." Sam said.

"Uh- well i need to get doors"

Ok *starts to grab a door like it's no big deal*

"Not sure" Amanda said, bringing a few boards.

"Thanks again." He said, nailing some boards on the doors.

Hannah hugged Lilith, "I'm sure she will get up soon"

"It's a surprise for me." He said as Violet chirpped happily, rubbing Amanda's face

Shadow paused, hearing footsteps, he got up and pulled out his pistol

Shadow approached the voice, "If you aren't undead, come out with your hands up." He called

Jake: does half undead work? *he walks out from the food stall holding a bunny and a bag of carrots*

Shadow frowned, gently lowering his gun but still kept his guard up, "Can someone please explain to me how so many people are getting into my home that I spent weeks fortifying?"

Jake: this mall is your home?? ?-?

He nodded, "Welcome to my humble abode that keeps getting breached."

Hannah cried, "Skipper!!"

Jake: im sorry sir but i needed carrots for Mikey here *holds out the bunny he was holding*

Shadow smiled slightly, "You could've asked me."

Jake smiles a bit and cuddles a bunny* Jake: can i stay here for a bit i lost my way to my home that i have been living in ;-;

Sam sounded insane, laughing loudly.

Shadow sighed again, "Sure, you can stay here for as long as you like."

Jake: thank you!! (he is in his 20's and he acts like a 7 year old its cute)

Jake looks for a pet bed for Mikey and a mat for him

Yep)) He eventually led Jake to a pet shop, "There's beds over there and food everywhere for the bunny.'

Jake smiles brightly Jake: Thank you sir!!

Sam curled his legs to his chest, still laughing a lot.

Shadow was walking through the Cafe again

Amanda yawned, sitting next to Sam. "Well he needs to sleep"

Hannah woke up, Skipper still not moving, her breathing extremely slow.

*i was crying* lilly... *i held her and i started to sob*

Hannah hugged Lilith, "I guess it was her time.....although she way way too young"

"It may be Skipper's time too, the fever isn't going down"

*i hugged onto hannah* i should off been watching her...

"Hey...you fell asleep....anything can happen"

*i sniffled* she was really close to me..

"I know love...but we have to let go of pets eventually"

*i nodded* i just wish i could of helped..

"I know you did want to but I'm sure Lilly and Skipper will still be best of buds wherever they are"

Skipper whimpered once before going silent again, her breathing stopped.

*i looked over at skipper* oh no..

Hannah frowned, "Well...the best thing we can do is remember them"

Skipper's body was still burning hot, and her heart beat a little.

*i hugged you thightly* we should go burry the bodys...

"Y-Yeah....but Skipper may still have a little life in her...we have to try" Hannah cried.

*i nod* okay *i looked at skipper*

Skipper didn't look alive, although there was the faintest of heartbeats.

*i walked over and i poured some of the healing liuqed in her mouth*

Skipper started breathing again, in raspy gasps at first.

"I'll help you take him to your room."

Sam chuckled, swaying back and forth.

"So Amanda, what was your life like before this whole apocalypse?" Shadow asked

"Well me and Sam were living together but most of our family had died long before the apacolypse did its thing on the world"

Shadow sighed, "I had no one either, I didn't even have Violet." He sighed, "I was just a homeless person on the side of the road. When the apacolypse started, I ran to this mall and locked it down. I found Violet still alive in her cage. We've been friends since."

"At least you saved Violet, i could have saved my parents but they told me to take Sam and run....leaving them"

Shadow smiled sadly, "Sometimes it's hardships that bring you together." Violet chirped in agreement, "I'm pretty sure she's not even a year old yet."

*listening silently to there convo*

"I guess thats true, but Sam ended up running away from a dog we had found thats thats when i lost him"

"And then he made his way next to here and somehow found Alora."

Sam lay on the ground shaking.

"Alora, did he happen to get bitten?"

Amanda looked at him shocked, "CRAP! GET ME A PILLOW" running over towards Sam.

Shadow grabbed her a pillow and threw it to Amanda

Amanda put it under Sam's head as it banged against the pillow instead of the floor.

"What was that?" He said

"A seizure....he doesn't have them often really"

"Oh, that's no good." Shadow said, "I wish there was something I could do."

"there may be medication but we were never able to afford it"

"What was it called?" He asked, "There's a medicine department in here."

"Brivaracetam i think the name was"

"I thought that stuff was useless but I've always kept a bottle on me." He said, taking out some of the medicine

"Really? Thank you!" Amanda said, grabbing it.

He smiled, "Glad to help."

Amanda smiled, sitting Sam up before putting the pills in his mouth.

Violet tweeted gently, flying to land on Amanda's shoulder

She smiled, "Hello Violet!"

Sam groaned, slobber running down his face.

Violet saw the slober and went to go grab a towel, "She'll be back with a tower."

"Okay" Amanda said, making Sam swallow the pills.

Sam groaned again, wanting to curl up into a ball.

Violet came back with a towel in her talons, she dropped it next to Sam and landed on Amanda's shoulder, chirping as if to say, "Do I get a treat now?"

Amanda chuckled, grabbing a seed and handing it to Violet.

She took it with a talon and trilled happily, eating it

Amanda wiped the slobber off Sam's face, smiling.

Violet started to sing, dancing slightly on Amanda's shoulder, "I've never seen her do that before."

Amanda chuckled, "Well i guess she likes the seeds"

"Or she just likes you." He said

"Possibly both"

"Probably both."

Amanda chuckled, "Jinx!"

"How is that a jinx?" He said chuckling, "You said possibly and I say probably."

"Dang it!" Amanda said.
