True Detective: Night Country

I have not seen TRUE DETECTIVE: NIGHT COUNTRY yet, but it sounds about on the mark for WT members. I really liked the first season of TD, btw, and could even tolerate the 2nd and 3rd. Anyone have an opinion on the new one? Laird Barron does:

I haven't seen any of the True Detective series though I know of it through my friend. I keep meaning to, but have yet to actually sit down and do it, though I've gone as far as renting it from the library. Maybe I can catch up some time in May when I've got the house and streaming services to myself. ;)
