It is wild to think that this was published in 1933. It's a bold production from the still relatively young LEC. This one always reminded me of some of the later titles from the Allen Press. Very cool!

I always heard the 1970 edition is superior, at least in terms of the translation. That said, in terms of esthetics I personally prefer the 1933 edition, it looks wonderful. I did also hear the 1933 version is very challenging to find in near-fine condition. I've seen people try to sell a copy in "very good condition" when the volume has tons of foxing, so caveat emptor! Your edition looks wonderful, I'd be very surprised if you can find a copy in that condition today for $200.
