Why do you think the trial linked to Mussolini’s gold in 1957 was halted and never reconvened?

Other than the small amount found in the lake by fishermen the remainder was never found or was it?
The suspension of the trial could be a cover-up.

It certainly seemed like a cover-up. I haven’t yet searched far in google to learn more about it. Maybe after finishing the book. 😀

Cover up.

Definitely feels as if it was a cover up, but that cover up must also have involved those above the judge otherwise surely it would have been restarted with a new judge. Oh what a tangled web we weave when we set out to deceive. Is there anyone we can trust!

It had to come from someone higher up than the judge. He’d never get away with it on his own.

Yes, agreeing with the ideas here. It was definitely a cover up, and came from someone above the judge on the case. His higher ups or from someone even higher.
