What did you make of the message on the sheet of paper, and especially the phrase where oil meets stone, death is at the end of a dark prison? Any ideas about this clue?

Too cryptic for me, I have no idea.

They drew a Maltese cross on the map and the place where all the lines crossed was the place where oil meets stone. They found an underground chapel with an altar that held the sign of Constantine which was the Nostra Trinita.

I'm sure it will make sense at some point.

This one I didn’t really have many ideas about, but it did sound as if it might have something to do with a rock. Also wondered if it was connected to a graveyard as it mentioned death.

>3 EadieB: Wow! That was good work on your part. I'll go along with you.

Taking the latter part first, I wonder if it has to do with the prison where Napoleon's victim was held before he was "questioned" by that Emperor. Or maybe that Knight's grave (also a type of prison). Oil meets stone - maybe a part of the coast? Or a reference to a stone chalice that holds holy oil for anointing?

Nothing came to mind for me. I’m with John, “too cryptic”. I’m useless at cryptic clues.
