Any thoughts on the way Cotton handled Luke when he met him again?

In telling Luke as well as Pullox that Luke was the senior man on the job he gave Luke confidence after his shaky start and let him know Cotton had trust and confidence in him.

I think he knew Luke needed to know that he wasn't trying to take over his role.

I like the way he made it clear that Luke was the Senior man. A good way to build his confidence and not having Luke look over his shoulder at him thinking he was going to take over.
