Are you surprised at Laura working for the Secreti?

No surprise for me, I never trusted her. She was always going to do her own thing. No loyalty except to herself, her own self description
expressed earlier in the book.

No I was not surprised that Laura was working for the Secreti.

Not a surprise at all, all the baddies seem to be linked to the Secreti.

I was a little surprised. I thought she was more likely doing some ‘extra’ dirty work for Spagna and the Catholic Church rather than for the Secreti or the Malta Knights

Can’t say this came as a total surprise.
