I noticed this group has been dormant, so here's a bid to revive it. I've been reading fiction from Singapore and Malaysia this year, and have put together a short list for myself. If you're on Club Read it may look familiar as I posted it there. If anyone has any additions, or suggestions, they'd be most welcome. I'll try and update reviews here as well, as I go.

Since I am not as active as most on LT, I can't say for certain why this thread has been dormant, but I suspect that it may be that it has been superseded by the Reading Globally threads for Asia. The nations of Singapore and Malaysia are both included in REGION 14: Asia IV, which you can find at https://www.librarything.com/topic/105516#n8537250.

Been learning Malay since its my boyfriend's native language, maybe once my reading skills in Malay are developed well enough I'll have to read some of these _in_ Malay (where Malay was the book's original language anyways, which appears to only be applicable to a handful of these books maybe?)
