Any thoughts on Emma’s and Tony’s relationship? Does it have a future?

Her mood was one of not caring but I think Tony needs to give her some time.

The loss of a child by any means can be a difficult thing to bear.
It appears to me that is the problem. They can have a future, but need professional counseling to get there.

Tony needs to be patient with her.

It’s not looking too good, is it? The foundations don’t look very solid if Emma’s miscarriage has shaken them so badly. From the way things are, it appears terminal.

Tony seems to feel quite helpless in this situation. They urgently need counselling in order to reopen the lines of communication. Emma in particular really needs some help to process her grief and try to move on with her life.

Let’s be honest the relationship was on very rocky ground before the baby and the miscarriage. I fear this will be the final nail in their coffin, especially if they are not really talking. Tony never seems to have made space for Emma and vice versa.
