How do i make a group

Go to the main Group page, and scroll to the bottom. You'll find a link to "Create a Group". But do a search first to make sure that a similar group does not already exist.

Note that there are restrictions on group creation. From the Terms of Service:
Do not create "pointless," "meaningless" or "random" groups or topics. We give all groups the benefit of the doubt, but the creation of multiple, duplicative and contentless groups is against these terms.
No purely "personal" groups (groups with fewer than two members).
