Was it wise for Tony and Emma to take Rahel back to their house for the night? What do you think his bosses would say?

I don't think that was a wise move as the bosses would probably tell Tony to not get personally involved as his job could be jeopardized.

It made sense to keep Rachel where he could find her, not that I think she’d abscond if she thought there was a chance her sister and niece were now within touching distance.
I don’t think his bosses will be very happy, however.

It made good sense, but I don't believe it was the wisest move to do this.

I can't say if it was a wise thing, but I can say to care for a child in desperate need is always the right thing to do without exception. His boss's opinion doesn't cut much with me, strikes me as a yes man with no backbone.

It makes a lot of sense and is humanitarian but is another example of Tony skating on the edge where his career is concerned. Has he ever been suspended? I keep thinking of Ian Rankin's 'Rebus', also a maverick cop, and suspended many times over the course of his career.
