Our introduction to Tiffany Aching and the 6" tall Wee Free Men.
Much like The Amazing Maurice, this book has been geared towards the young reader but has plenty to interest the adult Discworld fan.
Please share your thoughts about Tiffany Aching and the subset of Discworld books following her growth.

I really enjoyed the books, except for the last one. There I felt that Terry Pratchett basically repeated a previous story, and didn't manage to fully form some plotlines, but the latter was due to his disease, of course. I know what message he wanted to send with it, but I also disliked that he (to me needlessly) killed a beloved character to make a point in the real world, at least that's how it felt to me. That apart, the books are really charming, with nice creative ideas and well-developed characters. As you say, they do work for adults, which is when I read them. (The same goes for Amazing Maurice and other YA novels he wrote.)

I also really enjoy the illustrated edition and wish they'd done the rest of the books like this. If anyone needs to find it, here's the ISBN: ‎ 0061340804.
