28 Zoes_Human : #7 I'm looking at the film listing only, not the book. Right?

31 Zoes_Human : #7 I finally found this one but I had to Google "queer book to film" and start working my way through the list from the second link down.

56 GraceCollection : Rainbow 7: I can't say I'm familiar with the film, although I read the book years ago and truthfully didn't realize the two were connected because the title is fairly different. Honestly, I looked up "LGBT films based on books" and scrolled through until I found ones that took place in high school, I couldn't find the first one on the list I clicked on LT, but the second was the correct answer, and, unlike the first, one I had actually heard of before.

82 rigela : That one took me longest, it's one where the the movie's title is different from the book title. I ended up finding it by looking for booklists (via Goodreads) about blackmail and then only searching the YA titles. I only caught it because one of the alternate covers has the movie title on it, and it caught my eye - otherwise you have to scroll down to "has the adaptation" section.

Hope that helps!

92 AHS-Wolfy : I found #7 through google using words from the clue. Place, plot point plus reason for plot point (ie. topic of the hunt). Was no.1 film in the results.

93 amanda4242 : #7 is the movie based on Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda.

96 atozgrl : I was going to try another tagmash search on LT, but knowing the title of the book, I didn't have to. However, trying the tagmash search after getting the answer did actually pull up the correct book title as the first hit.

97 Aquila : Rainbow 7: It's the first result when you type gay high school film into google, and the third for gay high school movie. Which seems simpler than some of the things people have been searching on.
