I have been going through some books I own. I recently re-read Thornyhold by Mary Stewart.

>1 mnleona: I love Mary Stewart! I haven't read that one, but may do a reread of The Moonspinners.

As I noted elsewhere I'm slogging through The World Turned Upside Down a blood soaked history of the Chinese cultural revolution. It is so grim that I've had to do some side reading. I thought Sugar would be a nice history to read as a buffer - wrong it was even worse so I put it aside and fell back on some re-reads like For Kicks a Dick Francis mystery, Altered Carbon a sort of science fiction noir and two collections of short stories I've re-read more times than I can remember The Worlds of Clifford Simak and The Last Hurrah of the Golden Horde both of these each have a single short story (The Big Front Yard in Simak's book and Rules of the Road in Spinrad's book) which I really wish were fact and not fiction.
