As the new administrator of this group I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I have been a lover of classical music since 1985 - I can pinpoint the point at which I was hooked - I was listening to Beethoven's Choral Symphony in my dorm room and was blown away by the fourth movement! I am particularly fond of Baroque music.
I am hoping to have engaging and thought-provoking conversations in this group, as well as just plain fun discussions.
All are welcome!

Appreciate you assuming the Admin role.
I'm a lurker to the Classical Music group, but a regular listener. Can't pinpoint any conversion moment, though I suspect it involves Looney Tunes crossed with a few magical moments playing clarinet in my school orchestra.

Wasn't every Americans' introduction to classical music through Looney Tunes? Of course, for me at the time, I did not know what I was being exposed to.
elechus - keep listening and keep lurking on the sidelines.
