Interest in Zola Group Read?

Anybody interested? Perhaps 6 books per year (one every other month), it would take us a little over 3 years to cover the Rougon-Macquart series.

Yes I would be in for that.
I have pretty much all of them on the shelves.

Is Zola the author?

Ooh, this sounds so interesting, although I don’t know if life (and my energy levels) would let me take part. I would absolutely keep checking in on everyone else’s reading, though. I’ve never read anything by Zola (as a Francophile former librarian with a humanities background it’s shameful, I know) and would like to change that.

We do seem to have enough interest to proceed (from several groups), so more will be forthcoming with the first read in September.
