Problem loading photos to gallery

I can't load photographs from my new iphone (or anyone else's) into my gallery if the photos are in HEIC - now and then I'll miraculously load one in after changing it to JPG or PNG, but even that has stopped working . . . I've tried many workarounds but so far nada. The MB's are not above 8.

Image rules: We accept jpg, gif, bmp and png images, 8 MB maximum size. Image uploads must comply with the LibraryThing Terms of Service. Do not upload copyrighted images without permission. Uploaded images preserve a link to the original URL.

HEIC isn't a supported format, so that will never work.

They've also had difficulties with each new update to iOS so it might already be listed in the Bug Collectors forum

I know -- and in the past, with my old iphone (6!) I've had some success in renaming to png or jpg, but no longer with a 15.

I have looked through the Bug Collectors for the last year, as the problem only got hopeless with the but I haven't seen anything helpful.

The only thing I can think of doing is figuring out if I can switch on the iphone itself from HEIC to JPG.

I don't know what it would take to add HEIC, but I'll look into it.

Here is the photo I wanted to load. Our corgi (12 1/2) can't use her hind legs (spondylosis-spine/nerve issues) - so this is her new wheels.She's actually resting, wheels didn't quite get into the pic!

Even when I take the photo with the Library Thing app it's not loading, Worked yesterday...
