Help Andrew- I am only up to Book 6 of Ruth Galloway's adventures so will not join this one as I am reading in order. Subsequent titles though all look great and i will be back in October.

Meanwhile, many thanks for all of the great questions and the effort you put in to this group read. It was all a bit fraught given the difficulty some of us had getting hold of the book. I am glad that so many of us were able to join in despite this.

>3 Maura49: Let me add my thanks to Andrew for all the great questions. I really don’t understand all the problems getting the books since they are about England. I remember contacting the author and she didn’t know they were hard to get copies in England. Didn’t really phase them though, did it?

>5 Carol420: just tried bookfinder.com and there aren’t any cheap books for Why kings confess. I think the problem is not enough books published to have extra copies! My library has 8 copies of the book. Better not get rid of those - like gold! Chris Carter books are pricey but some of the older books are cheaper.

Count me in for them all.

>4 EadieB: Quite often the books come out from the U.S., which obviously adds time. Despite ebooks all the libraries around us don’t seem to have ebooks or physical copies, and seem reluctant to buy them if you ask.

>5 Carol420: I often think of this Carol when I think how hard it is to get the Chris Carter books, yet these are usually fairly easy to get hold of in the UK, which seems illogical s with the CS Harris books here.

>6 EadieB: When I got my book I tried one of these Apps you can sell books back to, most books range from 10p to 50p they will give you for the book. For Why Kings Confess it is 80p, never seen anything above 50p previously. Shows there must a limited supply of these books.
