>2 varielle: I know I have a Cold Harbor book. Not sure it's that one, though. I read the first Ramage book for my historical fiction book group years back.
And at the bookstore I put together a "books and war" endcap, fiction and non, & The Book at War is one of the titles on it.

One book ordered & bought because I was scrolling the PUP website after hearing about the sale: The Forest: A Fable of America in the 1830s by Alexander Nemerov.

From the FoL: Reclining Nude. Someone had kind of hidden it because I guess they thought it was naughty. It’s an art book with famous portraits of relaxing ladies.

Removed because of my personal stupidity. Yes, I did buy a book in paperback that I forgot I bought in hardcover...
Thanks to LT, I'll be returning it tomorrow.

I was traveling in Italy, so lots of books in Italian:
Fondazione Giovanni Michelucci: la casa-studio dell’architetto a Villa “Il Roseto”
365 modi di dire alla fiorentina, by Raol Vittorio Sticcer
Un giardino a Venezia, by Frederic Eden
Libri a Venezia, by Giuseppe Richeri
Venise la nuit - Rêve / Venezia la notte - Sogno, by Edmond de Goncourt and Jules de Goncourt
Séjour à Venice / Soggiorno a Venezia, by Marcel Proust
St. James of the Deep Stream / San Giacomo di Rialto, by John Ruskin
San Michele Cemetery Island, by Gianluca Costantini
These two I didn't buy. The first was given away as part of at an exhibit I saw in Venice, and the second is a book about the same artist that the exhibit staff gave me!
Grand Hotel, by Ydessa Hendeles
The Milliner's Daughter: the Art Practice of Ydessa Hendeles
and this one I bought tonight:
The thirty-six immortal women poets
