61 Kalira : Think of what might be community-curated, themed collections on LibraryThing, of which there are 12 a year. . . It's not a book at all, but a place to find (and vote on) many books.

67 malinablue : Found it! I actually went to google and typed in "librarything vote" and finally discovered the lists page and the categories. Excellent! Glad to know this, too.

4 lorax : Incidentally:

There is a clue where the solution page has the same problem as one that was the same type of page in the previous hunt. If you have a situation where you're certain you have the right page but don't see the banner (even when you go back to the hunt page), try refreshing the solution page - if it's right, the banner will flash up for a second and it will register when you go back to the hunt page.

87 laytonwoman3rd : I had this problem with Ghost No. 3. I've tried it repeatedly throughout the day, feeling absolutely sure I had the correct solution, but getting no banner. Just now, I tried Lorax's suggestion, and sure enough, it worked.

97 laytonwoman3rd l: I refreshed the page yes, it is a list and then went to my hunt page and refreshed that--voila! the banner appeared.

The UK translation didn't work for me to get the ghost, I had to switch to American English to obtain it.

115 mousegrl : you might be refreshing the wrong page. When you think you found the answer refresh the page. That is what I did and got it.

116 bookofsecrets : #3 Think homepage & monthly "best" lists. I had to refresh the page to make the ghost show up.

178 alaudacorax : This was so frustrating. I was certain I was on the right page. Then I idly clicked on the top book of the list—more in desperation than anything else; that didn't help; clicked the back button to return to the page ... and it said I'd found the ghost!

honestly. i clicked on every spoiler on this thread before i understood it was just a reloading issue?!?! i went to/refreshed the page at least 10 times before it just now finally gave me the ghost. it's the only ghost page that has done this. what is going wrong?

Yup, a reloading issue for sure. I went to the page a couple of times knowing it was the correct one then I finally thought of reloading it twice and got the ghost!

I kept reloading the same page for the last half hour, clicking every book on the list. The banner finally popped up when I went to the 3rd page of the list. Worth a shot for anyone else stuck.

I am completely flummoxed. This is my last clue. I seem to be doing everything right but can’t get the ghost.

ETA well dang. After going to the right page several times it finally said I’d found it. 👻
