Any initial thoughts and impressions on the murder?

I wondered if it was someone who knew the bride? They seemed very tender, after the event, stroking her cheek and apologising.
They wound an electric flex round her neck post-mortem - was this an attempt to cover up manual strangulation marks?
Was this premeditated murder, or accidental - caused by erotic asphyxiation?
Much to mull over…

The bride was alone at the time of the murder. The father had found her and had only arrived at the murder scene. The rest of the family and acquaintances were waiting for her at Stoke Raphael Church. When she didn’t turn up, everyone assumed she had changed her mind.

The bride's appearance sends mixed messages. Why was she left partially dressed? Why the apology. either this was someone she knew or perhaps a killer compelled to commit murder almost against his/her will.

It did feel as if this was a murder from someone she knew.
