Do you think this was an opportunistic murder?

To me it seems as though the murderer knew that the bride would be alone. He took the opportunity to kill her while she was alone dressing for the wedding.

The bride had got rid of everyone, and the cottage door was unlocked. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’d arranged a last-minute assignation with someone before signing away her singledom.

It could have been opportunistic; the security at the cottage was virtually nil.

No definitely doesn’t feel opportunistic to me. This is someone she knew.
