Any thoughts on the script at the start of Chapter 7. Is the author trying to communicate anything through this backstory?

I’m wondering if the play may autobiographical…

It’s a story about 2 brothers wanting the same woman. Somewhat similar to what is going on in this story.

>2 Sergeirocks: Me too, and I think it’s starting to look a similar story to what is happening in the book. It definitely looking as though the murderer is someone in the family.

The play does seem to have a connection to the murder of Kirsten. I hope it's relevant anyway as the cod Elizabethan verse is making me wince.
