How do you think Francoise came across her bruises? Did you think it was Liston? Why?

I think she received her bruises from Liston. She said he was angry and promised not to hit her again when they were married. Right?

I think it probably was Liston, because the narrative hadn’t given any indication of Françoise being badly treated during her captivity.
This makes me wonder if Liston was involved with the college’s scam, and puts him well up the list for having killed Abdul Ahmed.

Has to be Liston. Totally possessive and jealous individual who is just an abuser. Poor excuse for a man. She needs to run for the hills, and this action makes me think he could have killed Abdul Ahmed too.

I am sure that it is Liston, and yes, alibi notwithstanding I think that he killed AbdulAhmed too.
