Frankly, I'd rather have had nothing than someone other than Gaiman mutilating this by bringing it to a forced end in 90 minutes. Maybe given a little time, things would have calmed down enough to give it the third season it deserved.

i think hes a good enough writer to do this in 90 minutes but I agree and when the dust dies down he can start again on the series

The way I understand it, they don't want to let him write the 90-minute version, but to use someone else. He's already written a regular season. What a complete mess.

Exactly. He offered to not be further involved, as in stay off the set and everything. The scripts were done and filming greenlit, it just hadn't started yet. But instead amazon decided to go with this complete mess of an idea. I couldn't believe it when I read it.

OK I watched it over the weekend and think that I did like it but I also felt that it was rushed. A nice tribute to Sir Terry does appear towards the end of the film.

Well, it was supposed to be a full season and they stuffed that into 90 minutes. Of course it would be rushed.

i watched it, thought it was ok for what it was. loved the ending, and crawleys last words were just what pratchet believed in no religion no gods or satan no good or evil. just a world where people can live . a pity that it was not a full season. but we know who to blame for it.
