Suppose you've had your eye on a particular two volume LEC edition of a famous book. You find this book available online in near fine condition and at a very reasonable price. You're all set to purchase it, but then you notice something peculiar: the seller is located in Los Alamos, NM. Would you go ahead with the purchase?

Now would be a good time to invest in a Personal Radiation Detector or a portable Geiger counter. :)

Interesting thread here, particularly about the professor of nuclear physics: https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiation/comments/1ck97vy/book_contamination/

>1 blue.eyes2: Yes. I'd also buy a book from a seller located at Oak Ridge.

I might, however, run a Geiger counter over it. :-D

Most people don't understand radiation and/or think that radiation and fallout are the same thing, it's not :)
Short Answer: 100% yes, you have nothing to worry about.
