Privacy for old Transaction records

Hi -
I have asked before about this and was told it was on the list to add, but current events has kind of pushed it to a more immediate concern.

Can we work on being able to batch delete old transaction history? Preferably before January?

Thanks for the note! Okay, we discussed and our developer @Lauren-at-LT is going to take a look at the inner workings of this later this month. We'll report back if this is something we can do ASAP or not! I'm guessing if we do move forward with it, we likely won't meet your before-January deadline (this is our busiest time of the year, plus holiday vacations, etc.). Do you have a later deadline we could aim for, if this goes forward?

no deadline other than the change in political climate that is happening in January. It wold be great to not have old patron checkout records sticking around waiting to be seized.

I meant to update this thread yesterday, but close enough!

I'm happy to report we have now made a new feature to run mass deletions on your All Transactions page/s (in addition to our previously-existing "Delete ALL transactions" button).

There's a couple of other tweaks we made to the Transactions pages, all explained in the announcement here: https://www.librarything.com/topic/368456.

Please read up and let me know if you have any questions, but you should now be able to search/filter your All Transactions to delete anything in bulk! I hope this helps. :)
