Armored Hours by Stephanie Hansen
Set in 1920's in the Midwest four friends: Claudia, Keirsten, Lina and Florian are active in the suffragette movement. Also during prohibition, they are part of the movement of feminist goods and illegal alcohol. When the four go missing one man (Alex) sets out to find them.
The story moves at a fast pace, with attention to detail and character driven plot. Told from multiple points of view and different time lines, pulls you deep into the story. (An) original compelling plot, with suspense, a bit of romance and a splash of magic. I was engrossed from the first page until the last.
Overall I found Armored Hours thought-provoking, intriguing and very enjoyable. I highly recommend to those who enjoy historical (stories) with a bit of romance and magical vibes. I look forward to reading more by Stephanie Hansen.
