Why do you think everyone was so jumpy at Dolly’s when Bosch mentioned Layla and Aliso? Any thoughts what might be going on?

It appeared to me they did not want any type of problems that might harm their business or damage their image, as sordid as it is.

Because of Layla's dealings with Aliso, everyone now knows that Bosch knows about Layla. We will have to watch and see what Layla's reaction to Aliso involved.

It doesn't make sense unless they were worried Aliso had given detrimental information to her that could potentially endanger their illegal business.

It was interesting to see how rapidly his status as potentially valued customer changed even before t Bosch had identified as a cop, so I am inclined to think that questions about Layla from anyone is going to worry people for some reason. As she appears to be missing it would seem that there is reason for Bosch to be concerned.

Something happened the last night he was in Vegas.i think it must be related to why Layla was fired. I think there’s more to it than what we’ve been told.
