Found one I’ve been seeking for a while at our local pet rescue thrift where it was donated by the estate of the late musician Marty Balin — Lady into Fox by David Garnett. ♥️

I'm really enjoying The Last Line by Stephen Ronson, & just ordered 3 books he references in his author note:

I've read Huck Finn, but I might not already own it. I think I mostly have his nonfiction.

An ARC at the last minute: A Copycat Conundrum by Lisa Yee (pub Jan 2025; children's book). We'll see whether I like it any better than book 1, which I also had as an ARC -- before recycling it.
