I will try to join again this week. I recently started on Lark Rise to Candleford so I'll be continuing with that. I will also see if I can make some headway with other books I'm reading - particularly Castle in the Air.
I was supposed to go to a Christmas market this weekend, but my favourite has closed down and I'm not super drawn to any of the others. And I've got a cold coming on so might be best to stay close to home.

I'm in. I feel like I live in Crazy Town (pop. 5 including the dog) - but as the population will drop to 2 including the dog this weekend, I'm going to wallow in the silence and read my heart out. Sometimes the universe has other plans, of course, but it's looking good for an awesome reading weekend!
I would avoid scary books, but I'm about to finish Bob Woodward's latest, War, and nothing is scarier than reality sometimes ... as an aside, this book is a good companion to Charlie Wilson's War, which I just finished last week. The more things change ...

Oh my goodness, is it Friday, already!
Well, I'm in. I have some decorating to do for the holidays but I will make time for a cup of tea and reading time.

I cannot participate either this weekend or the next as I will be at my mother's. She has no Internet access.
I wish all readers the best of luck with their reading!

I didn't end up reading much at all as I realised I still had a bunch of baking to do for Christmas so spent the weekend doing that instead.
