Is Duquesne the large, drunken shirtless Florida Man warrior, or the small, depressed SciFi gas station attendant?

Man, LT really didn't wanna load that up today. Worth it, though.

I'm sure I read this, but I can't answer the question. DuQuesne was always a brains over brawn kinda guy, though. No idea who the redneck Fauxnan is supposed to be.

For some reason, this is *really* giving me "Don Quixote in Space" vibes, but I don't think the actually story has anything to do with that.

The gas station attendant looks like he's really tired of space-Fauxnan's bullshit.

"So you built a blaster that's shaped like a medieval jousting lance and pretty much impossible to aim because...why?"

"Because it's _cool_, duh!"

@Atroriarius: I see what you mean, but looks a bit too ripped for Don Quixote.

>4 bam2001: It's FUTURE Don Quixote, Bruce. Space-Fauxnan really liked the holo-drama he saw.

Why is Fauxnan wearing a #bubble helmet? Must be part of his cosplay, it certainly isn't needed.

I haven't read any of these books since the 90s, but brawn wasn't usually a feature. It was all brains, treachery, wheeling-dealing, super-science, aliens, all that classic space opera stuff.

It's important to keep your butt-plug on a chain in case your bottom decides to make a break for it.

And you wouldn't want anyone stealing it, either.

I know Fauxnan is all brawny, but that lance must weigh very little, even though he's choked up on it.

It might be longer than he is tall. Though we can't be sure, since it continues off-cover and his lower legs disappear into the mud fog. ISTM that would be better served by a chain. But maybe he has to use both hands when wielding the overly-large lance, so he'd be dropping the knife.
