Did Kim do the right thing in agreeing to a joint investigation, or should she have walked away and focused on other investigations? Why?

Kim did the right thing because she knew she would be harming her career if she said no and her boss knew she could not let the case go and would not let it fail.

This is a really difficult one. I don’t think it was right to be a joint investigation. I can see why she agreed to do it but is a recipe for disaster.

I don't think she had much choice in the matter but she is right to be apprehensive given the toxic relationship between herself and her fellow DI/

Was it her place to refuse to work with Travis when their bosses had already agreed a joint op?
Kim can already be somewhat of a loose cannon, (luckily she’s successful at her job), she doesn’t need to add subordination to her repertoire.
