Was Stacey right in what she said to Dawson about racism?

Perhaps she was. But I didn’t like the way she had a go at Dawson about it. He has never shown any hint of racism to her, so why attack him?

Stacey having suffered racism as a child came very close to saying Dawson was a racist, which he is not. One should never call another person a racist unless that person is because you can ruin their good name.

Stacey clearly has good reasons for being sensitive to racism, due to what she has suffered. I feel she came on a bit strong to Dawson.

I thought she made some valid points but she could have handled it better.

Dawson's remark about his parents 'caution' about their new neighbours has aggravated an aspect of racism that touches a sore spot with her. She makes some very good points about the 'grey'areas which need as much attention as the more obvious signs in people.
