Any thoughts on what we discovered about Jacob James from his daughter?

It came as a surprise that Jacob had worked at the Cowley farm.

I agree with >2 Sergeirocks: that it was a surprise that Jacob worked at the Crowly farm. Also, that she thought he committed suicide.

His daughter thought he had committed suicide but was surprised to find out that he was murdered. Also found out that he had worked at Cowley’s.

How appalling for Jacob's daughter to have spent so many years thinking that her father had killed himself.
