Did you think the acid attack in Derbyshire was connected to the other racist attacks?

I don’t know. It’s possible, I suppose, even though it seems a completely different MO.
I’m glad I’m not having to make the judgment call on it. I don’t see that it will make much difference to their investigations, even if it is connected.

We believe it was an honor punishment because her dating was causing embarrassment to her family.

Given some of her family's attitudes I am more inclined to think that this was more about cultural issues within her community than anything to do with the other investigations.

I agree with you that it seemed closer to me, most likely done by a relative.
