Was Kim right to use Travis’s team to run the investigation into Stacey’s disappearance? Could this cause her problems in the future?

It was a good call to use all the resources she had to hand. Double the workforce would, hopefully, mean a quicker resolution: time is definitely of the essence. Kim did an awful lot of bridge-building when she was overheard to say she trusted Travis and his team.
I don’t actually see how it matters whether she runs the op from her own building or Travis’s? She’s no doubt due a dressing down, but I can’t see it causing her causing her problems in the future.

It was the right thing to do. Finding Stacey was paramount.

She had seen enough to be impressed by Travis's team and knew that she could trust them. Together with herown team this strategy increases her chances of finding Stacey.

Smart move on her part for all the reasons that have already been shared.
