‘The fibre in the grave came from a Preece’. Any idea at this stage which Preece was involved? What was your reasoning?

There are 3 possibilities: oppressive Grandpa; older, more dynamic brother; nondescript younger brother. Based on the premise that it’s always the one you’d least suspect, (and that other old chestnut - ‘It’s always the quiet one’), I have to admit to suspecting the younger brother.

I felt like Bart was the least likely so the probable suspect.

I felt that Grandpa was directing their actions and thought that Dale was the most likely to be actually co-ordinating the hunts. I must admit that I had discounted Bart.

The book is drawing to a close and there are always twists and turns so our choice is Bart.
