What was your overall impression, and final rating for the book?

A well-crafted story from a difficult subject to deal with.
Final rating is 4.5★s from me.

I thought it was a good story. I wasn't a fan of the first 20 percent or so, but one I got past that, I enjoyed it very much. I will give it a 4.5 too.

I thought this was a well plotted novel. The interactions of characters were very well done and Angela Marson's passionate feelings about the horrors of racism really energised the book. I am happy to give it a 4.5

My rating will be a 4.0 and John’s rating is a 3.75.

I enjoyed the book, and the chance to play around with some theories as the book progressed with the different strands. My final rating was 4.75.
