March-Hare’s Meanderings

I got it in my head to do one of those “how many Loeb Classics can I read before I lapse into senescence” projects. This seems like a decent place to keep track.

I’m no spring chicken, so it’s not looking good at the outset.

I’ll consider it a win if I read 40 volumes.

May post on some other reading from time to time. We’ll see.

I got blown off course into Renaissance political theory for several months. Coming back to this for the fall. Adjusted my to read list. Up next is Loeb Classical Library 072: The Gallic War.

Starting off the year with Procopius. Nothing like some Byzantine shenanigans to get the juices flowing.

I started rearranging my shelves. Currently in the "what have I done" stage.

Lol, rearranging shelves is always a daunting task. So you are a Classics person, and you probably laugh when someone calls Pride and Prejudice classic.

Well, the classics thing is a side project. Mainly read philosophy and history. Also been toying with doing a great books thing since I have been reading Dante. At the least shelves are back in some sort of order with room for future growth.
